Yesterday the Red Cross activated The Rock Church to help those impacted by the flooding in our area.Rock Borchardt, one of our church members, is now active in the Red Cross. He was on point last night. So cool that he can serve the Red Cross and connect with church at the same time. We need more people like Rock. He also went to the Golf Coast last fall for Hurricane Ike relief. Pretty cool. Proud of you Rock.One of our families who lives in the flooded areas was here at the church today. So glad to hear everyone is well.I am so proud and thankful that our teams spearheaded the effort to become a Red Cross Shelter. Every time we are activated, 4 times this past year, there is many opportunities to help people.Stay dry and safe.
